Full bathroom in basement was completely rehabbed in 2020 There's also an adjoining loft space with another king bedroom (w/ additional double bed) and full bath, kitchen, and living space. Great location for large families or two families with young kids. Come relax by the lake. Enjoy beautiful sunrises over the lake from the 300+ sq ft. deck. Roast marshmallows and gaze at the stars around the fire pit. Shell Lake is a 2600 acre lake known for it's clean water, great fishing, and sandy beaches. All of the usual lake activities are available. There is a public landing in town so you can bring your boat along. We have a dock and an extra boat lift (for fishing boat or smaller ski boat) on our property. We now have 2 boats which are available to our renters at an additional cost. First is a 20-ft pontoon that can legally seat up to 10 people. It has a 25 hp 4-stroke Mercury motor that runs smooth and quiet. The boat is a little worn, but still works great for fishing or casual cruises around the lake. The 2nd is a 2000 Mariah Shabah 182 ski boat. Shell Lake is about a 2-hour scenic drive from the northeast side of the Twin Cities. Our lake home is a beautiful year round home with a cabin feel but all of the amenities of a home. The home features knotty pine interior with wood floors and a large natural stone fireplace in the center of the cabin. The great room is 2 stories with a wall of windows facing the lake. The outside of the cabin is log. There is a 55" TV with surround sound speakers in the great room. We have Internet, Direct TV and many DVDs. There is a second flat screen TV in the master bedroom. The great room has a large L shaped couch that seats up to 8 people and more seating and a game table. The sun room on the main level offers additional seating for relaxing. The kitchen was recently remodeled with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. There are 4 barstools along the kitchen center island. The table in the kitchen seats up to 8. Inside there are 4 bedrooms with the master bedroom (King) and guest room (2 twins) on opposite sides of the main level. Upstairs there are 2 more bedrooms, one with a queen log bed and the second 'kids' room with 2 twin beds, a trundle & full bed . The kids room is filled with games, toys and books. The loft area is open for extra sleeping (with a pull-out full bed) or relaxing. There are 2 bathrooms in the cabin. The main floor bath has a walk in shower and the 2nd floor bath has a tub/bath combination. We also have central air conditioning for those hot summer days. We have a huge front deck overlooking the lake. There are 2 dining tables on the deck with seating for 10. Additional comfortable seating across the front of the deck for relaxing with a cup of coffee in the AM or a book in the PM. A gazebo is located off the side of the deck with a couch, chairs and table. This is a great space for quiet naps or for the kids to play games in. The property is very private with a rare 450' of lake shore frontage with a huge sand beach in front of the cabin. The water is crystal clear all summer and the elevation is very gradual so it's ideal for children. We have a long dock that can be used for fishing or just sunning. There is also a fire pit on the beach with chairs to enjoy the evenings outdoors. We do spray for both mosquitos and ticks. We have a 20' pontoon boat (seats 10) and 2 kayaks which are included in the rental. We also have beach toys and bikes for our renters to use. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean. Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. Other Things to Note: DO ask for anything you need. The worst we can do is say no. If we don't provide something you really need, tell us and we'll see what we can do for you. We want to give you the most magical stay you ever could wish for! Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean. Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. Other Things to Note: DO ask for anything you need. The worst we can do is say no. If we don't provide something you really need, tell us and we'll see what we can do for you. We want to give you the most magical stay you ever could wish for! Located on Spooner Lake off a Private Drive and wooded land. Cabin sits on well-maintained grass lawn and sand beachfront. There is plenty of room for bags, horseshoes, frisbee, soccer, and any leisure sport. Located on property is also a small fish house with running water for cleaning Large Mouth Bass, Crappie, Perch, Bluegill, Bullhead, and Northern caught daily in this lake. Also provided is your own private wooden dock for swimming or fishing from. Guests also have use of a paddle boat, and a row boat. Spooner lake is a sand bottom near the beach with several yards of shallow water, then dropping off for deeper swimming. There is plenty of beachfront along the property, with picnic table, chairs, charcoal grill, and fire pit, to enjoy those beautiful summer nights. In addition to sitting on Spooner Lake, it is adjacent to Little Spooner Lake connected through a channel. Little Spooner Lake is an excellent lake for duck hunting with marsh and woods surrounding the shores. The cabin is a four season home with all the charm of staying in a cabin by the lake, but fully remodelled with a full kitchen and a beautiful eating area, that can seat all your guests. This space is surrounded by windows with a view to the back of the property where deer are often seen wandering through. There is also a screened-in porch, which accommodates a full bed. There is a living room, and two bedrooms; one with a queen bed and the other has two twin beds. Each bedroom has dressers and room for luggage. The newly remodelled bathroom has a shower and bathtub. The screened-in porch faces the lake with extra seating to enjoy the beautiful lake sunrise and sunsets. The living room is my personal favorite part of the house where many memories were spent as a child visiting relatives and staring at the beautiful stone fireplace. Guests can still feel the rustic charm of this cabin sitting, reading, watching tv, or sneaking in an afternoon nap, like I remember doing as a child. Cabin is non-smoking. Towels and linens provided. Kitchen has full range electric stove/oven, full refrigerator with top freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender/mixer, kitchen utensils, spices, etc. Cabin sleeps up to six guests. Close to the property is a public access boat landing (2 miles away) with room on property to bring your own boat, and safely store it while you stay. It also has an abundant supply of small-mouth bass, large-mouth bass, crappies and sunfish. There are many restaurants and marinas (providing gas and rental boats) on the lake so that you never have to leave the lake. Off the lake, there are some great restaurants and golfing options. If you like to shop, Stone Lake is only 10 minutes away, Spooner is 20 minutes and Hayward is only 35 minutes away. Hayward always has something going on and its Main Street is loaded with shops, restaurants, its famous candy store and bakery and even a Wine Cave with entertainment. Rice Lake, 30 minutes, provides full services, and large scale stores. We ask that you are respectful of our local community; many are supported by the land so be conscious of slow tractors and farming equipment on the road and land boundaries when out and about. You may choose to bring your groceries with you and stay on the farm, or a 15 minute drive to either 20-Mile Organics in Barronett http://www.twentymileorganic.com or Al's in Shell Lake, Spooner is 20 minutes and has an Economart and The Vitamin Source, an organic grocer and supplement store. There are a few fun restaurants for take out in and around Spooner/Cumberland/Shell Lake. Timberland Ski area, 30km of cross country ski trails open to hiking and horses in summer/fall, is a 10 minute drive away as is The Ice Age Trail. The Clam River for trout fishing runs within 2 miles of us with a handful of public access sites to choose between. Shell Lake has a clean, sandy public swimming beach with kayak, canoe, stand up paddle board rental available at Matt's Water Rental 715-577-0964. There are distillers, brewers, roasters and a winery within a 30 minute drive, as well as many antique and "elegant junk" sales. Shell Lake Clinic and Hospital is a 17 minute drive from the farm. There is shelter at our house in case of tornado. If you are an outdoor adventurer you will find numerous trails for hiking, biking, ATV, skiing, snowshoes…you name it! Maybe you are just out on an excursion to learn about the creatures great and small that inhabit our woods? Was it the “lure” of fishing that drew you here? Or a nap during the middle of the day (yes, please)! A cool lake on a hot summer day? Check. Whatever you want, you are sure to find it in our tranquil forests and lakes. We have TONS of local history to learn about too…think Al Capone and the Chicagoland gangsters, original timber loggers, and more. About the cabin: At just under 700 square feet our cabin sleeps 4 (maximum of 3 adults) in the following suggested combinations: a small family, a few friends on a fun excursion or a couple that’s just looking to get away for awhile. The floor plan is very open with sleeping spaces on the main floor including a bedroom area with a queen bed and privacy screen plus a sofa sleeper with nice air mattress. The loft has 2 twin beds and room on either side for an air mattress. The main living space has a cozy reading nook with an incredible view of the lake! There is an adjustable television. We have DirecTV for a large assortment of programs. We use Verizon for our cell phones and it works here. There is no wifi. This is our place to unplug and we hope it will be that for you too! The bathroom has a shower and a modern vanity plus linen cabinet. There is ample room to gather for food and fun around the kitchen island/bar but we always recommend the lakeside patio. The Isle Theater, which had sat vacant for about 15 years, has been remodeled and now can be rented for parties, it features Nessy's Bar and Grill in the back. There is a large public beach and hours of boating around the Island city. Near by Barronett has a organic store,called the 20 mile. If you like biking its a beautiful ride to Barronett (blacktop back roads). The 20 mile store features produce, prepared foods, wine & cheese, plus their own forzen custard. They also feature gifts and crafts. Another unique place to visit is Helsterns Wood Carving. Barronett has a cafe, bar & grill and Bistro's Supper Club. A little farther North is Shell Lake, A popular spot is the Pottery Barn, where you can buy and paint your own pottery, then it is glazed and fired. While you're there, you can shop and have lunch. It has 3,300 acres of woods with campsites across 15 miles of Long Lake shoreline. The beauty of this is that the shoreline is untouched except for an occasional view of a campsite or the Boy Scout water facility that is cool to view as you pass by on boat. Welcome to... Lola's Lake Escape - Birchwood, Wisconsin The best of both worlds - indoor and out! Located on Mud Lake, off of Long Lake in Birchwood, Wisconsin This beautifully decorated 3,000 square foot lake home is located on 2.5 acres of woods. The property is in Washburn County on Mud Lake and is accessible to Long Lake. The town is Birchwood and is approximately 10 minutes away. You can travel to Hayward or Rice Lake in around 30 minutes, either direction. Washburn County Forest is within walking distance. There you can enjoy ATV trails, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, hiking, biking, camping, hunting, fishing and wildlife. From the 3rd week of April into the 2nd week of May, Crappie fishing is normally good right off our dock. We typically limit out every day, but every fisher person is different and there's no guarantee. But you should be pleasantly surprised. Good fishing continues well into June. You should see Lola's and Curt's LARGE - Large Mouth Bass and stringer of Crappies mounted on our living room wall. In December, get in the holiday spirit with all its decorations at Lola's. If there's some white stuff and if you have a snow mobile, be sure to bring it. There's lots of trails close by. Newly available: 21' Sun Tracker pontoon, with 60 horse, 4 stroke engine, includes portable toilet and has a bimini top. If interested, please mention when contacting us, so we can assure usage. We have available 7 life jackets, you supply the gas. The weekly rental rate is an additional $735 with a $150 deductible. There's a gentle slope that takes you to the lake, which can be walked to. Better yet, use our 2017 Yamaha Side by Side to get to the dock with your fishing gear. Look at the stars while enjoying a campfire at the fire pit sitting on chain sawn oak benches. There's plenty of wood provided. No telephone, so bring a cellular phone with you. Living Room: The living room has a vaulted ceiling and is cedar wood lined. Make a cozy fire in the fireplace (wood provided). Walk through the French doors out onto the deck to capture the lake view. Direct TV & WiFi is provided. Kitchen and Dining: The dining room has sliding doors which lead you to the large deck and overlooks the Lake. The full size kitchen attaches to the dining area. The dining room table easily sits 8 people. The kitchen is equipped with an extended counter (seats 3), microwave, refrigerator, stove, dish washer, coffee maker, hand mixer, toaster, cookware, dishes and utensils. To help with your cooking, you'll find flour, sugar, seasonings and spices available. Sleeping & Bath rooms: The main floor has a Master bedroom with a queen size sleigh bed and full attached bathroom. Also, there are two more spacious size bedrooms, one with a log, queen size bed and the other, a full size bed. One full size bathroom upstairs and down. More sleeping available, see basement. Enjoy your vacation in the time-honored Wisconsin tradition--UP AT THE LAKE. This family-owned cabin is located on Lake McKinley which is eight miles northwest of Spooner and two hours northeast of Minneapolis/St. Paul. Warm, honey-colored knotty pine paneling surrounds you as you enter the great room. The decor is rustic but do not let that fool you--all new carpeting, bathroom fixtures, and appliances (even washer and dryer for your convenience) all immaculate. The three bedrooms are all paneled in different versions of pine and the main floor bathroom has a wall history of the cabin. Scoot down the spiral staircase to the family room in the walk-out basement with a Franklin wood stove for those chilly evenings. There is a large bathroom down here for the shower after swimming. A spacious deck on both levels gives you a wonderful view of the lake. Nearby is the small guest house with bunk beds which the kids love. Cabin Setting: The cabin has one quarter of a mile of shoreline and 13 acres of heavily wooded land which affords you a degree of privacy seldom found. Situated on point, the cabin overlooks a 105-acre lake (30 feet maximum depth) that provides excellent fishing with northern pike, various panfish, bass and some walleye present. A plus for the younger non-swimmer is the shallow depth at shoreline with gradual increase in depth. No drop offs. A 16-foot fishing boat with 25 hp. motor as well as a canoes, rowboat, and kayak are available. Area Activities: Plan a canoe trip down the Yellow or Namekagen River, both close at hand. Play golf at the Spooner Country Club or the renowned Voyager Village course, both open to the public. Visit the Tommy Thompson fish hatchery in Spooner, largest in the state and tours are given. Go to the Potter's Shed in Shell Lake and watch them fire Raku pottery or have them glaze your own pot. Hike the trail through the wooded 13 acres surrounding the cabin--you might surprise a deer. Play tennis on the Olympic-sized court right on the property. There is a basketball hoop if HORSE is your game. And, of course, fish and swim. Great fall hunting (deer, ducks, grouse), leaf viewing, and cranberry picking on the property. Enjoy the winter with warm fires and downhill skiing at Telemark and cross country on Lake McKinley. Snowmobiling and ATV use is easy with many bordering trails. Excellent ice fishing just in front of the cabin.

Northwoods Crossing is a 3 bedroom 2 bath log/wood sided cabin located at the head of Trego Lake on the famous Namekagon River. The .64 acre lot is on a quiet dead end road and offers 120 feet of frontage with great sandy bottom semi clear water swimming. Boat out on the 450 acre lake or float the river directly to the cabin after experiencing some of the finest fishing in the area. The Cabin features a large 12x26 ft. family room, fireplace and air conditioning. With a capacity of 12 you can bring the entire family and dog to boat the lake, ride ATV's and float the river. Extra toys are included with a canoe, 2 kayaks, and 12 tubes to float the river directly; a newly built locking shed is available to store rods and water toys.
